Brown Rice Balls

I saw these brown rice balls a while ago and thought they looked so cute and tasty.


I just made two cups of brown rice and then mixed in a bunch of sesame seeds and some furikake (a Japanese seasoning) for flavoring.  After that, I shaped the balls with a cube of avocado in the middle. I got better at making smaller balls as I was going.  You can see the larger ones on the right, which were my first tries!  They held together well and although the smaller ones were easier to eat, it was possible to eat the big ones without them crumbling to bits in your hand.  I liked them, although Anthony thought they were rather bland.
