A Much-Delayed Hobbit Day


No recipes here, just some fun foods.  Since Anthony and I were in Uganda on Hobbit Day (it was in September), we celebrated it way late when we got to Michigan with my parents, who had enjoyed hobbit food with us once before.  For dessert, we had little rhubarb tarts - pie crust in mini-muffin tins with rhubarb sauce baked inside.  (There was also one made with the last teaspoon-full from a jar of fig jam)

The other baked good included in this meal was mushroom biscuits from Joy the Baker.  I think that hobbits would enjoy eating them for sure.


Oh, and this is what I did with the remainder of the pie crust that didn't fit into the muffin tins!
