Monkey Bread


I’ve continued trying out various baked goods on the stove. Monkey bread is one of the latest. I made half a batch of yeast bread dough, rolled it into ping-pong sized balls, rolled those in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, and poured melted butter and sugar over it, then baked it in a pot of boiling water. It tasted very good and was pretty easy to make, but it didn’t turn out crunchy like it would have in the oven.
