Baking Adventures

Over the past year, I enjoyed having neighbor kids come over most weeks to bake something with me.  We made quite an assortment of baked goods, but I don't have pictures of all of them.  Near Christmas, we made gingerbread cookies (one of my favorites):

During mango season, we made chapatti and a mango tart:

At Thanksgiving, we made crustless pumpkin pie:

I also had another friend's kids come over to bake in the outdoor clay oven with me.  Among many other things, we cooked pizza for our lunch and made this lovely heart-shaped loaf of bread:
