Food in the UK

On the way to the US for our furlough, we stopped in the UK to visit friends and have a short vacation.  Not only did we enjoy the time with friends, but we also enjoyed eating very different foods from what we get in Uganda.

We had lots of cups of tea.  Lots.  Good thing we like tea.  And some great scones with clotted cream:




We enjoyed seafood stew and a Reuben sandwich on a cold, rainy day in London:



We also got to have some more traditional food in Church Stretton, meat pie and sausages:



And we couldn't leave without having fish and chips and mushy peas:


And when we found a Japanese restaurant in London, we ended up going there twice and enjoying all kinds of unique foods, including a noodle dish with duck meat:
