Blueberry Cream Cheese Turnovers


After making spinach pie, I was left with half a package of filo dough.  So I started searching for other things I could do with it and I came across this recipe for blueberry turnovers.


They were a really big hit.  With only three people eating them, most of them disappeared in one day.


I followed the recipe mostly, but I only needed about 5 Tbs. of butter and since I'm slightly lazy while baking, I didn't sprinkle any sugar on top of the turnovers.  I don't think they suffered any for having less sugar in them!  The only thing I would do differently is that I might add another half cup to whole cup of blueberries because I thought there could have been more filling.
