Rabbit
I will refrain from disturbing you with too many graphic pictures, but suffice it to say, that Kathleen and I prepared our first rabbit from being alive to being in the frying pan. On the one hand, it was hard because they are super cute animals, but on the other hand, the process actually was much easier and less traumatic than slaughtering and butchering a chicken can be. Here we are looking slightly distressed at what we are doing:
The pieces of meat:
We went for the simple method of cooking - breading and frying. We just rolled the meat in flour that was seasoned with salt and pepper, then fried it in oil for something like 10-15 minutes on each side.
It was amazing that one little rabbit (this one wasn't even as big as they can get) was able to feed four people with some leftovers.
