Sushi with fruity filling
We were making sushi with our neighbors a while ago and ended up with more rice than we had filling. Suddenly we came up with the crazy idea of fruit dessert sushi. It sounded like it could possibly be terrible, but we figured we'd give it a shot.
We tried out two kinds: banana with blueberry as well as banana, peanut butter, and honey.
We set them up just like regular sushi - a thin layer of rice, then our fruity treats on the edge, before rolling it up.
They were extremely pretty sushi rolls and actually were quite enjoyable. Personally, I liked the banana, peanut butter, and honey version the best.
