Pumpkins are Food

Yes indeed, you can eat pumpkins - they aren't just decorations. However, today I used a pumpkin for a decoration. This is John Calvin carved into a pumpkin (I found the pattern on Calvin College's website but I added the hand because of a painting of him at Calvin Seminary). In case you didn't know, Halloween is also Reformation Day, and John Calvin was a reformer of the Christian church in the 1500s.
