Mongolian Silas

Remember Silas the goat? Well, his meat came back to feed us recently in the form of Mongolian “Beef” made with goat. It made for a very good meal, but there were some goat hairs in the final product. I guess that would be our faults, though, since we were the ones who cleaned it…


On a different note, this is our breakfast from our visit to Soroti. It was a nice change to have something simple as a meal on a visit. Usually people make us all sorts of elaborate meals and try to get us to eat too much, so we were happy to have just this. This is tea and something like a cross between a doughnut and a dinner roll.
