Back to Uganda
I am going to take a break from sharing recipes and today will just show some foods that I have been eating.
Anthony and I are so happy to have moved back to Uganda and have been enjoying our time with the Ugandan people we love. It has also been fun to eat Ugandan food again.
First, three kinds of Ugandan take-away food from a deli in Kampala:
Matooke cooked with peanut sauce:
Another version of matooke, this time cooked with tomato sauce:
Cabbages and sausage:
Pineapple and ginger juice:
Liver and chips in Jinja on the trip from Kampala to Soroti:
And finally, the first meal cooked in our new home! Oranges from the tree in our yard, peanuts, and sweet potatoes:
