Homemade Pasta

A friend of ours let us borrow a pasta maker attachment for Kitchen Aid mixer and so we've had fun making homemade pasta a few times.  It's certainly a lot less work than rolling it all out by hand, but also requires a lot of time.  At least we are home a lot these days...

The first time I made pasta, we cooked half of it and then let the other half dry before refrigerating it.  I made the mistake of leaving it hanging for too long (a few hours) and when I finally went to pack it up, half of the pieces had broken apart and fallen off the hangers onto the floor...

Another time, we made homemade ravioli.  It would have been much harder to cut them all individually, if our friend had not also loaned us a little ravioli maker.  We made a filling of greens and cheese and then a simple tomato sauce.
