Apple and Fig Polenta Cake

After my uncle sent me some dried figs, I started looking for interesting recipes I could bake with them.  A polenta cake sounded intriguing so I tried that one out.  I found the recipe here.  It turned out well and was a fun breakfast for me (even apples are a special ingredient here in Uganda!)
