Things We Have Been Eating
Before we got started on making Indian food for meals all the time, we had some simple meals at home with the limited ingredients we had available. Oranges and peanut butter toast:
Greens and sweet potatoes with peanut butter:
Eggs, cabbage, and homemade Irish soda bread:
Restaurant food - posho, chapatti, and vegetable stew:
A hotel breakfast - fruit, tea, passion fruit juice, mandazi, and Irish potatoes:
Termites:
These were actually really tasty. They had even more flavor than the white ants that people have served us.
Bambara groundnuts, cabbage, and sweet potatoes:
Swedish pancakes and greens:
Hummus, naan, and vegetables:
And food in the village - atap, rice, meat, greens, and some sort of cucumber that is cooked and served with groundnut paste:
